On August 2, 2025, Huye town turned into a vibrant celebration ground as it hosted the annual Iwacu Muzika Festival 2025. The event brought together top Rwandan artists and crowd of music lovers from across the region With electrifying performances, cheering fans, and a perfect setup, it was an unforgettable night of sound, dance, and unity.

The festival was made possible thanks to the main sponsor MTN Rwanda, who led the event’s success with strong support, Other partners like Be One Gin, Inyange Industries, and Primus beer by BRALIRWA also played a major role and Their contributions ensured that the audience stayed refreshed and energized throughout the show, as cold drinks and refreshments were available at every corner keeping thirst at bay.

The fest began with a powerful performance by Juno Kizigenza(IKIRURA), who immediately lit up the stage. His youthful energy and hit songs like shenge, igitangaza, yaraje,…. created the perfect opening atmosphere. Fans sang and danced along, showing he’s truly become a fan favorite.

Kivumbi King stepped on the stage right after Juno, he brought his signature poetic style and deep lyrical content. His performance was thoughtful, stylish, and full of passion capturing the hearts of many in the crowd by vibing the hits like Kikankane, ola, wait,… that his fan totally love.

Ariel Wayz Delivers Vocal Power

The stage then belonged to Ariel Wayz, who stunned the audience with her strong vocals and emotional depth. King James wrapped up the night with his smooth and heart-touching performance. After the show, he spoke to media about his relationship with fellow artist Manick, clarifying that everything was fine and Manick is just abroad for personal commitments.
