Ngoma District

Ngoma District sits in the heart of Rwanda’s Eastern Province, serving as a vital connector between the capital and the country’s eastern frontier. With Kibungo as its administrative center, Ngoma blends tradition, agriculture, and emerging urban energy.

Economically, Ngoma is rooted in agriculture, with fertile lands supporting maize, beans, bananas, and cassava production. Sectors like Mutenderi, Rukira, and Zaza are known for their vibrant farming communities, while Mugesera and Sake border Lake Mugesera, offering potential for irrigation and eco-tourism.
